Charlie Oliver made the smooth transition from working in advertising in New York at such goliaths as BBDO Worldwide and Condé Nast Publishing to working in television production at such studio goliaths as Sony Pictures Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers and Dreamworks. As a Script Coordinator, she supervised script departments and worked extensively with writers and executive producers in the development of stories and scripts. She eventually made the leap to independent film working as a manager the Sundance Film Festival and working as a development executive at such indie film companies as Andrew Lauren Productions and Belladonna Productions where she was instrumental in seeking out new film projects for development. In 2006, Charlie formed her own production company (Blue Orchid Films) write and develop projects that moved her personally.  Shortly afterward she segued to new media where she develops content and has launched startups including web video sites “Real Women Respond To Palin Webathon” and “” and daily news/ramblings blog “Drunken Corpse”.
